Gay pride is this weekend in Toronto. Time for the butch dykes to unite with the femmy twinks and every affiliation in between in a show of community unity. The organizers of Toronto Pride know that there are lots of gay groups and interests from art to zoology. There is plenty of events scheduled from Friday night through the fabulous parade on Sunday with lots of parties to happen afterwards at many of Toronto’s gay bars, pubs, and sex clubs. Not into the club scene? That’s okay too. There will plenty of entertainment going on at other venues including Queen’s Park. Isn’t it great that the queens get their own park? (no disrespect intended)
No, I didn’t overlook another important event this weekend. It is Victoria Pride as well. Two great gay pride events this weekend at each end of Canada’s vast territory.
